Today is International Day of the Girl Child
This year the focus highlights how a digital gap can widen gender gaps in the growing digital space.
We all have a responsibility to bridge the digital gap for the over 2.2 billion young people in underserved communities.
There is growing access to education, healthcare and skill-based learning and opportunities that can empower girls around the world.
Lightbox: Baby Loss Awareness Week
Every year, from the 9th to the 15th of October is observed as Baby/Infant Loss Awareness Week.
This week is observed to give a voice to the hundreds of thousands of parents who have lost their infants, create awareness about possible causes and provide a safe space for these parents to talk about their loss and get encouragement.
This Thursday, Chinny Ononuju-McErnest will be sharing her experience with us on the Lightbox Platform about losing her baby. This session will be made open to everyone. You can register here to join.
