AGS Lightbox Session: Visibility in the Workplace
Kemi worked in a company as a marketing intern. Her manager was not a very pushy person, and she pretty much kept to herself and did only what was required of her, while keeping a low profile. Until another intern joined the team and became the life of the office. He made friends in all the departments, met the bosses, helped everyone with personal stuff.
Of course, when push came to shove and an intern had to go, the more visible person was favored over Kemi. She couldn’t forgive herself for not going out of her shelf and making the decision at least a bit tougher for the managers.
ALL of us have been Kemi at some point. Don’t wait till you get shoved off or overlooked, this Lightbox Session is for you.
