Apply For the Future Females Business School Tech Programme
Applications are officially open for the Future Females Business School, powered by UK-Nigeria Tech Hub - a programme that will support 50 Nigerian Female founders to increase the capacity of their enterprises to grow, scale, and become more sustainable. The Future Female Business School Tech Programme is a three month virtual accelerator programme, equipping local female entrepreneurs with the entrepreneurial skills and best practices needed to start and grow successful and sustainable businesses, that utilise technology to not only generate wealth for themselves, but to have a positive impact in their community, and environment. World Bank: Growth in Sub-Saharan Africa to fall by 3.3% in 2020

Manufacturers have expressed concern over the varying cost of electricity tariff across different states in the country. In a statement issued by President, Manufacturers Association of Nigeria, Mansur Ahmed, on Friday, they said the disparity in electricity tariff had been observed to favour some regions of the country over others. Nigeria can earn $12m annually from minerals, says Chamber
The Nigeria Chamber of Mines (NCOM), has revealed that the country can earn as much as $12million yearly from the Solid Minerals sector if properly harnessed and developed. “I wish to observe that Nigeria is blessed with different categories of solid /industrial minerals such as kaolin, limestone, dolomite, gypsum, and metal minerals like tin, columbite, tantalite, iron ore, lead/zinc, precious stones such as tourmaline, sapphire, garnet, topaz, and aquamarine,” among others. Nollywood movie star Funke Akindele and her music star husband, JJC Skillz have been granted state pardon by the Lagos state governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu. According to blogger, LIB, a statement signed by the State Attorney-General and Commissioner for Justice, Moyosore Onigbanjo, SAN, stated that the couple who are both non-custodial convicts were granted state pardon, for disobedience of covid-19 lockdown regulations.
