Muyiwa is a consummate professional who has significant
experience in the public and private sector respectively. His
experience spans almost two decades of dual exposure.
He has worked in various capacities at senior roles in 5
commercial banks. Muyiwa’s last stint as a banker was in
senior management with Ecobank, where he served as the
Technical Assistant To The CEO then also Head of strategy
implementation.
Muyiwa went on to drive the value chain business for the bank
nationally, before taking up the lead role in the Ecobank
Regional SME Banking team, where his journey into the world
of SMEs started. Since then, he has been able to identify
numerous gaps and opportunities within the SME space. He is
the Founder of The SME Mall and is passionate about SME
Advocacy.
Muyiwa is a Civil Engineer by training. He is a Foundational
Certificate holder of ACCA in Accounting and an alumnus of
Harvard Business School (HBS), where he obtained a diploma
in General Management, He has also attended various courses
