Let’s Talk Cervical Cancer
January was Cervical Cancer Awareness Month but due to the many programs we had in-house, we were unable to properly hold a discussion on it.
Cancer is one of the worst killers the world over and cervical cancer is specific to women but is often undetected until it’s late due to lack of knowledge and resources. Out of the 56million women in Nigeria, almost 8 thousand women are lost annually to Cervical Cancer.
Join us this Saturday as Dr. Kachiro Hannatu Favour, the senior resident ObGyn at Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, will be answering our questions and providing first-hand information about Cervical health and lifestyle or healthcare choices we need to make to protect ourselves and our loved ones from Cervical Cancer.
