African Export-Import Bank has signed a financing deal with UTM Offshore Limited This deal was signed at its 29th Annual Meetings in Cairo, Egypt recently. Google to Shut Down Hangouts to Further Consolidate Platform
As announced in a company blog post, Google is officially shutting down the Hangouts platform. Users of the Hangouts app and the Hangout extension on Chrome will be encouraged to switch over to the Chat platform starting today, with Gmail Hangouts users being transitioned over to Chat in July. The final call for Google Hangouts will be in November, but users will be reminded at least once a month to make the switch. Read more…

EFCC says landlords letting houses to internet fraudsters risk 15 years in jail
Nigeria’s anti-corruption agency, the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has said that any landlord or landlady that let his or her house to internet fraudsters popularly known as Yahoo boys, will henceforth face prosecution. According to the agency, such house owners will be liable to 15 years imprisonment if found guilty. Read more…
